The 18th Tactical Fighter Squadron, nicknamed BLACK WIDOWS, is a squadron of M-2000C Mirages under the Fighters Platoon, part of the DCS NA 33rd TFW Battalion.The 18th Tactical Fighter Squadron, better known as the Black Widows, is an elite group of pilots capable of ground attacks or air superiority. Utilizing the versatile M-2000C, they can carry everything from dumb bombs and rockets to medium range air-to-air missiles or laser guided bombs. This allows pilots to go on deep strike missions or provide CAP to fellow strikers clearing the way for ground forces. No matter what the mission, the M-2000C has an answer.
Training is carried out every Thursday at 2000 EST to help prepare and master the aircraft and all her capabilities before the Sunday mandatories.
