The 493d Fighter Squadron, nicknamed The Grim Reapers, is a squadron of F-15C under Fighters Platoon, part of the DCS EU 52nd TFW Battalion.

Activated in 22.09.2015, and led by the former Squad Lead SkyCap, which established a strong baseline for the squad, inspiring people into numerous fashionable kills, and the squad rose to its glory in early 2016, when Skycap retired by switching to the opposing coalition.
In the midst of the organizational changes, the squadron eventually came under AlephRo’s command in early 2016, The Grim Reapers came to its fame thanks to numerous Team Kills, a putrid sense of humor among its members, and some occasional air-to-air scores on the battle field;
The Three Horsemen and the spine of the squad are AlephRo, Overdude, and DarksydeRob, which were in the squad since its birth.
The squad maintained its readiness by participating in a number of exercises and global events, like Joint Warrior 5, Top Gun 2 & 3, SATAC, SATAL, and several other events.
Weekly squad trainings are on Thursdays, 19:00zulu.
